1. About Cardabra

Cardabra (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a tool based in New Zealand that helps you identify, price, track, and sell Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering trading cards: live listings on your own Trade Me account, export files for Shopify and eBay, and inventory tracking with printable price stickers for in-person selling. By using Cardabra you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. A Trade Me account is required only if you use Cardabra to list on Trade Me. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Marketplaces you sell on

Cardabra is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Trade Me Limited, Shopify Inc., or eBay Inc. If you connect Trade Me, you authorise Cardabra to access your Trade Me account to create and manage listings on your behalf, and you remain responsible for complying with Trade Me’s own terms and policies — including the requirement that listing tools are intended for in-trade (registered business) sellers; if your account is not an in-trade seller, you use the Trade Me integration at your own risk. Shopify and eBay files are generated for you to import into your own store or seller account; what happens on those platforms (fees, listing rules, disputes, payments) is governed by their terms, not ours.

4. The service is assistive, not authoritative

Card identification and pricing are generated automatically (including AI image matching and third-party price data) and are estimates provided “as is”. They may be inaccurate. You must review every draft — including the title, description, price, and photos — before listing. You are solely responsible for the content and legality of the listings you publish.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cardabra to list or sell counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items, to break any law, or to breach the terms of any marketplace you sell on. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

6. Subscription and payment

Cardabra is currently in beta and free to use. Trade Me listings are capped at 50 per calendar week (resetting each week). If paid plans are introduced later, they’ll be described at the point of purchase, nothing will be charged without you signing up for it, and any change of this kind comes with reasonable notice.

There is nothing to cancel while Cardabra is free — you can simply stop using it, and no charges exist to refund. If paid plans return, cancellation and refund terms will be stated with them. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

7. Availability

Cardabra is provided on a best-effort basis and may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed at any time. We do not guarantee uptime.

8. Intellectual property

“Pokémon” and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners (Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc.); “Magic: The Gathering” and related marks are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC; “Trade Me” is a trademark of Trade Me Limited; “Shopify” is a trademark of Shopify Inc.; “eBay” is a trademark of eBay Inc. Cardabra is not affiliated with any of them. You retain ownership of photos you upload and grant us a licence to use them solely to provide the service to you.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardabra is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost sales, mispricing, mis-identification, or actions taken by any marketplace against your account. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the relevant claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your listings, your use of Cardabra, or your breach of these Terms or of a marketplace’s terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Cardabra at any time. We may suspend or end your access for breach of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
